Taking part, finishing a programme and holding an external qualification are three different things. We keep the difference clear.

What you leave with is work you can show and explain: a project, a piece of research, a workflow, a resource. Something real, in your own words.
Participation and completion
Taking part and completing a programme are recognised by the Academy. They are not accreditation, certification or credit from an external body, and we do not claim that they are.
Where skills can lead
Capability can open up learning, projects, research, collaboration and work. We do not promise a job or an income.
Not compulsory
Foundation is a starting level, not a gate.
If you can already show Foundation-level skills, you can begin further along. Nobody is asked to repeat what they already know.
